NDAC in an independent training club located in Woolsery and serving the surrounding area.  We prioritise and protect the health and well-being of you and your dog when providing advice and guidance in training related to dog agility.

  • To administer your NDAC membership account and provide the products and Service you have requested from us.  This includes (but is not limited to) notice of membership, subscriptions, workshop and course fees, and distribution of club activities, news and events.

  • To inform you of Service information or changes to our Service, such as alterations to training times, cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, and other club related activities.

  • Raise awareness of NDAC’s activities by capturing photos, videos, live streaming at events.  We will use this information for promotion, education and development purposes.

  • Respond to and investigate your questions, comments, complaints or allegations.

  • We will periodically conduct questionnaires and surveys related to the provision of training for NDAC members, and our website facilities.

  • Notice of AGM and meetings of the club as required by our constitution.

 

Members can opt out of these communications at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer.  However failure to provide the necessary personal information may affect our ability to offer you our club membership and Service.  We don't rent or trade our contact lists with other organisations and businesses. 

 

You can request we remove all your personal data from our records.  This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

 

Newsletter Sign Up

As part of the registration for membership to NDAC, you will be offered the opportunity to receive our e-newsletter.  The newsletter will only be sent to members who explicitly agree to the use of their personal data (full name and email address) for this additional purpose. 

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our Data Protection Officer.

Other uses of your Personal Information

We may ask you if we can process your personal information for other purposes.  Where we do so, we will provide you with an additional privacy notice explaining how we will you’re your information for these purposes.

 

Media

Photographs, videos and other media will be taken at our training grounds and other public locations such as shows and competitions.  This media is used to raise awareness and promote club activities, educate and develop our Service, and thus may appear on our website, social media accounts and in our e-newsletter.  Please contact our Data Protection Officer if you have concerns about being identifiable in these forms of media, and wherever possible we will work to accommodate your request.  Please note, we are not responsible for any content on third-party sites (see section on “Links to Other Sites”)

 

Log Data
We collect information through our website that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

Please note that the above rights are not absolute, and we may be entitled to refuse requests where exceptions apply.  Email your request to our Data Protection Officer.  Please note, you will need to provide proof of identity – a current passport or driving licence to access your data.

 

How Do Long We Retain your Data?

NDAC is required to retain information in accordance with the UK law, such as information required for audit and insurance purposes.  In order to comply with our liability insurance, we keep and securely store past members records for up to seven years.  This includes full name, address, email address, telephone number but excludes bank account details.

 

We will only process your personal data whilst you are a member.  After two years of inactivity we will close your member’s account and archive the data.

 

 

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

 

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
